The Rhode Island Building Clerks User Group is a collaborative forum bringing together municipal building department clerks from across the state to share best practices, troubleshoot common challenges, and strengthen local permitting processes.
In partnership with OpenGov, this group fosters a space for ongoing learning, feedback, and system optimization to ensure communities are leveraging the full potential of OpenGov’s Permitting & Licensing platform.
Meetings provide a structured opportunity for clerks to:
- Share real-world use cases and process improvements
- Stay informed about new features and updates in OpenGov
- Provide feedback to the OpenGov team to shape future enhancements
- Strengthen peer-to-peer support across Rhode Island municipalities
